Here’s a simple reminder for anyone who may need to hear it:

FanDuel, DraftKings, Hard Rock Bet, Kalshi and similar platforms are NOT investments. You don't need to follow the crowd. Making this mistake will likely cost you dearly. Real wealth is usually built slowly, patiently and consistently.

Here are ten steps I would suggest to anyone willing to listen:
1) Pay off your debts as quickly as possible;
2) Save early and save often;
3) Make sure you have an emergency fund;
4) Invest regularly through dollar-cost averaging;
5) Max your 401k and take any 'free' money your company offers;
6) Open and max your Roth IRA;
7) Focus on low-cost ETFs that track broad sections of the economy like the S&P 500;
8) Spend less than you earn; and
9) Live within your means.

Financial freedom rarely comes from chasing quick wins, but it does come from disciplined habits repeated over time. If you start early, life will become much easier for you later.
