William Chrisant and Sons opened on Griffin Road in 1978 and have hand-picked the stock ever since. More than 30,000 rare and used books fill the shelves now, alongside antique maps, vintage magazines, and antique prints. The shop's Instagram account has pulled in 79,000 followers, which is unusual reach for an independent bookseller in Broward County.

Reviewers have come away with first editions, out-of-print classics, and one German volume printed in 1758. A bargain section sits stacked outside the front door. Peter, the resident shop cat, has a following of his own. The staff know what is on the shelves and are happy to talk about it. Private lot parking, and walk-ins are welcome.
