🏡 FLORIDA HOMEOWNERS: A BIG TAX CHANGE MAY BE COMING!

Florida lawmakers have approved a proposed constitutional amendment that could significantly increase the Homestead Exemption and reduce property taxes for many Florida homeowners if approved by voters in November 2026.

📌 Proposed changes include:
✔️ Homestead Exemption increasing from $50,000 to $150,000 in 2027
✔️ Potential increase to $250,000 in 2028
✔️ Additional property tax relief for qualifying homeowners

Keep in mind that this is still a proposal and has not become law. Florida voters will have the final say at the ballot box in November 2026.
