A milestone moment for solar in Florida — celebrating Earth Month ☀️🌎

This morning at the Orange County Convention Center, alongside our partners at SolarEdge Technologies, we celebrated the completion of a 𝟐.𝟑 𝐌𝐖 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 — one of the largest of its kind in the state — joined by local government leaders and community stakeholders.

This project represents a true full-circle journey. After completing the original system years ago — and following a reroofing effort by Advanced Roofing — our team at Advanced Green Technologies returned to upgrade and reimagine it—now doubling energy production without expanding the footprint, powered by advanced smart inverter technology.

Beyond the scale, it’s about impact: supporting long-term sustainability goals, contributing to a facility that drives billions in economic activity, and building on initiatives like the redistribution of 𝟓,𝟖𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐬 back into the community.
Proud of our team, our partners, and what this project represents for the future of commercial solar.

The U.S. solar industry is facing a wave of new tariffs and antidumping duties on imported solar modules from Southeast Asia—raising major cost concerns for developers and property owners alike.

Key Updates:
📌 Tariffs range from 50% to over 270% on imports from China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia.
📌 Solar construction costs in Florida may rise up to 30% ($300/kW) in 2025, according to FTI Consulting.
📌 These changes could reduce U.S. solar installation forecasts to 20–25 GW next year (down from 35–40 GW).

The Good News:
U.S. solar manufacturing is growing rapidly thanks to incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act. However, domestic capacity still can’t fully meet demand—making timing critical. Acting now could protect your budget and timeline.
