Great news for the City of ! Stiles and New Urban Communities Corp. is pleased to share that the City has unanimously approved our proposed redevelopment of the .

The approved plan reflects a significantly scaled-back vision for the property compared with the plan previously approved under the former ownership. Our project will bring 89 for-sale residences and nearly 52,000 square feet of retail space along Wilton Drive, creating new opportunities for residential ownership and long-term investment in the community.

By reducing the density and overall scale of the previously approved plan, the project has been thoughtfully designed to better complement the surrounding neighborhood while supporting the continued vitality of .

We appreciate the City, community members and project partners who worked collaboratively to bring a project forward that will enhance the WM lifestyle and bring more amenities to the Drive. We look forward to embarking on this next chapter of the Shoppes of Wilton Manors!

Today marked an exciting milestone as we kicked off our first Stiles build day for a Habitat for Humanity home our company will help bring to life over the next several months. 🏠💙

A dedicated group of Stiles associates rolled up their sleeves this morning to officially get the build underway, putting in the first hours of what will be a meaningful, hands-on effort throughout the months ahead.

We’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Habitat for Humanity and support its mission of creating safe, affordable places for families to call home and we are proud of the Stiles team members who helped kickstart this special project today.

This is just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing more as the home takes shape.

A Thoughtfully Scaled Vision for the Shoppes of Wilton Manors

We are excited to share more information about the proposed redevelopment of the Shoppes of Wilton Manors and provide the community with an accurate view of what is being proposed.

When Stiles acquired the property, a significantly more intensive project, Wilma on the Drive, had already been approved for the site, consisting of 252 residential rental units in a seven-story mixed-use building with a six-story parking structure.

Rather than pursue that approved plan, Stiles has proposed a substantially scaled-back development with 89 residences in a four- to six-story condominium building, along with commercial space along Wilton Drive. The portion of the building closest to our residential neighbors is four stories, and only a small portion of the building is set back 35’, with the rest of the building set back 62’+. Additional landscaping on balconies and along the property line have been included to preserve privacy for condo and the homes next door in addition to balcony screens for further privacy.

A deliberate design focus was also placed on adding street front retail to further elevate the connectivity and vibrancy of the Drive. The plan also contemplates renovating the existing building which is home to many long-standing staples of the Drive that are integral to Wilton Manors. Our existing tenants have expressed excitement for the re-imagined Shoppes of Wilton Manors.

For 75 years, Stiles has been part of the South Florida community, with Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area serving as our home and our backyard. 🪏Yesterday, we officially broke ground on Miramar Cove, a transformative mixed-use community that will be the first true inland waterfront destination in Broward County!

Owned and developed by Sunbeam Properties, Stiles has been awarded the construction management and third-party development of the project.

This 125-acre mixed-use community will feature 1,210 residences, 400,000 sf of retail, 280,000 sf of office, and extensive amenities.

We are proud and grateful to be part of the incredible team bringing this vision to life and thankful to ownership, The City of Miramar, Florida and all project partners for their collaboration and trust.

Stiles has officially entered the market with the development of a new Publix Super Markets-anchored retail center in .

As we celebrate 75 years of investing, building and managing across the Southeast, this milestone reflects our continued growth into high-potential markets and our commitment to delivering quality experiences.

Located at the southeast corner of Campbell Lane and Smallhouse Road, the development will feature a 54,946-square-foot Publix Super Market, adjacent Publix Liquors, and shop space, serving the rapidly growing Bowling Green community.

“Entering Kentucky is an exciting step forward for our company,” said Austin Freedman, Senior Director of Retail Development for Stiles Retail Group. “Bowling Green represents a dynamic and growing market, and we are proud to partner with Publix to deliver a high-quality retail experience that will serve the community for years to come.”
