🪏Yesterday, we officially broke ground on Miramar Cove, a transformative mixed-use community that will be the first true inland waterfront destination in Broward County!

Owned and developed by Sunbeam Properties, Stiles has been awarded the construction management and third-party development of the project.

This 125-acre mixed-use community will feature 1,210 residences, 400,000 sf of retail, 280,000 sf of office, and extensive amenities.

We are proud and grateful to be part of the incredible team bringing this vision to life and thankful to ownership, The City of Miramar, Florida and all project partners for their collaboration and trust.

Meet the Stiles 2026 Summer Interns! 👏

Today, we welcomed 10 incredible students as they begin their 14-week immersive internship program at Stiles.

Throughout the summer, they’ll gain hands-on experience, build meaningful relationships with mentors, and contribute to projects across our company and communities.

We’re proud to have these talented future leaders with us and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this summer.

Stiles has officially entered the market with the development of a new Publix Super Markets-anchored retail center in .

As we celebrate 75 years of investing, building and managing across the Southeast, this milestone reflects our continued growth into high-potential markets and our commitment to delivering quality experiences.

Located at the southeast corner of Campbell Lane and Smallhouse Road, the development will feature a 54,946-square-foot Publix Super Market, adjacent Publix Liquors, and shop space, serving the rapidly growing Bowling Green community.

“Entering Kentucky is an exciting step forward for our company,” said Austin Freedman, Senior Director of Retail Development for Stiles Retail Group. “Bowling Green represents a dynamic and growing market, and we are proud to partner with Publix to deliver a high-quality retail experience that will serve the community for years to come.”

Stiles will lead both development and design, with architecture by Stiles Architectural Group. Opening Spring 2028.

We are proud to recognize Tyler Szekalski, Project Manager III within the Construction Division, as a recipient of the Spirit of Stiles Award!

A valued member of the FAT Village leadership team, Tyler plays an integral role in delivering the Construction Division’s largest active project, a 1,135,000-square-foot mixed-use residential development in Fort Lauderdale. As one of the primary points of contact for the Hines Development team, one of the nation’s leading private developers, as well as our construction partner, Hooper Construction, he consistently represents Stiles with professionalism, accountability, and excellence. As part of the project leadership team, Tyler helps ensure the project remains on time and within budget, reflecting his shared commitment to solutions focused collaboration and results.

Beyond project delivery, Tyler is deeply invested in developing the next generation of leaders including mentoring and supporting APMs and PMs across the team. He also serves as Stiles’ representative with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Young Contractors Forum, helping shape future industry leaders and strengthening our presence within the construction community.

Tyler’s dedication, collaborative leadership style, and embodiment of Stiles’ core values make him a trusted teammate and a strong ambassador for our organization.

Today we’re proud to spotlight Cynthia Bartholomew, one of our Senior Preconstruction Managers.

Working both in the office and on project sites, Cynthia plays a critical role in the early stages of a project — leading budgeting and cost estimating, coordinating with architects and engineers, evaluating constructability, and helping develop project schedules. Her work ensures projects are thoughtfully planned, financially aligned, and set up for a successful build long before ground is broken.

Her expertise, leadership, and attention to detail help lay the foundation for every project we build.
