Most people think starting an Airbnb is all about finding the right property… I thought the same thing.
But if I could go back to when I first started, these are the things I’d tell myself 👇
✨ Don’t just buy the house—buy the EXPERIENCE
The properties that win aren’t just nice inside… they give people a reason to book.
Backyards, pools, outdoor seating, games, vibe… that’s what drives bookings (and higher nightly rates).
💸 Your numbers on paper are NOT your real numbers
What you see on Zillow or a quick deal analysis isn’t the full story.
You have to factor in vacancy, seasonality, maintenance, supplies, and the unexpected.
This is where most people get it wrong.
⚙️ It’s not passive… but it IS scalable
At the beginning, you’re in it—guest messages, cleaners, issues.
But if you build the right systems early, this can absolutely turn into a real, scalable business.
I don’t just sell Airbnbs… I run them.
And these are the things that actually make or break your success.
