With a combined boat building and service experience of over 70 years, Paul Anstey and Ben Dodarell have the knowledge and experience that you need when it comes to having a vessel surveyed for Pre-purchase, Insurance, import duty, and appraisals. Paul Anstey has a background as a boat builder, building many hundreds of offshore sailing vessels in the UK, before relocating to

Florida in 1977. He has extensive sailing experience having sailed the Atlantic in a 31 foot sailboat, competed in numerous Ocean races on both sides of the Atlantic and more recently competing in J-24 International Championships. In 2014 he raced his 43 foot 1967 C&C in the Newport to The Lizard Transatlantic Race. Ben Dodarell is an accomplished Naval Architect and boatbuilder. He spent many years working with Broward Marine building and designing the Broward line of motor yachts then moved on to other builders such as Hargrave Yachts, Richmond Yachts and Deep Impact. He also has been involved in major commercial cruiseship refits. Recently, he was a project manager at Rybovich in charge of large power and sailboat service repairs and refits.
