It is important for a person to develop themselves both personally and professionally. If you provide services in a specific area within your profession, you must continuously improve and update yourself in order to better assist, inform, guide your clients, and deliver higher-quality service. In our profession, the market constantly changes due to various economic and social reasons—especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, when it became quite different compared to previous years. It is essential to learn how to respond according to market fluctuations and conditions.

It is from one of the largest real estate events in the world, both nationally and internationally in San Diego, California, where leading experts shared dozens of recommendations and future forecasts about how the real estate market is expected to evolve over the next 7 years.

Business events I attended in many different states across the USA, as well as the local experts I met and consulted with in other countries during my world travels to better understand the condition and development of their real estate markets.

For me, the best time of the year to watch TV. Normally, I don’t really enjoy watching TV. It’s usually just the economy / business, sports news, and sometimes movies. There are even times when I don’t turn on the TV for the whole year. But every late summer—at the end of August and the beginning of fall, in the first week of September—for about 14 - 15 days, those are my TV days to watch my passion. I’ve also watched the US Open live multiple times, watched live the legends of the court.

The Fed cut interest rates today by 25 basis points, setting the new federal funds target range at 4.00%–4.25%.

What This Means for Mortgage Rates:

* Fixed-rate mortgages (like the 30-year fixed):
These are tied more to the 10-year Treasury yield than directly to the Fed funds rate. They may drift lower after this cut, but the drop isn’t automatic, it depends on inflation expectations and investor demand for Treasuries.

* Adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs):
These move more directly with short-term rates. Today’s Fed cut could bring faster relief to borrowers with ARMs.

* Market dynamics:
If investors believe inflation will stay under control, bond yields should fall, and mortgage rates likely follow. But if inflation fears rise, mortgage rates might not fall much, even with Fed cuts.

Let’s Looking Ahead:

* The Fed’s projections suggest two more small rate cuts are possible by the end of 2025.

* If that happens, mortgage refinancing could pick up, and homebuyers may see better affordability, though stronger housing demand could push home prices up.

In anticipation of a Fed interest rate cut, average mortgage rates on 30-year fixed home loans fell last week to an 11-month low of 6.35%.

Great fun for a good cause!
I contacted relatives, friends and colleagues who live in CA during wildfires. Thank God they all fine. Our hearts were with them and helped as much as we can. Here is another charity event (bowling) coming up from our board of realtors.

YPN’s Kick-Off Event, Bowling for Charity, will donate the profit to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, aiding those affected by the wildfires in California. Come out and enjoy the fun while benefitting a great cause!
