🛝Steele Street Park Playground Now Open🌲

Get ready to climb, slide and smile- the Town of Fort Mill’s newly upgraded Steele Street Park playground is now officially open for fun!

The playground features new slides, swings, sun shades, climbing structures and more. This was the second phase of upgrades at the park, following the resurfacing and painting of the outdoor basketball court, with the addition of new backboards and breakaway rims, which was finished this past August.

“We are excited about this new addition to our park system. I want to thank Fort Mill Town Council for the funding to upgrade the park,” said Fort Mill Parks & Recreation Director Brown Simpson.

Up next, crews are constructing a new picnic shelter for the park which should be unveiled within the next few months.
