WATER UPDATE - 3:49 P.M.
The water outage issue in the Regent Park and Regal Manor areas of Fort Mill has been corrected. Most homes should see their water pressure returning, with more typical pressure returning around 6 p.m.
There is NO BOIL WATER ADVISORY needed since there was no break in the water line.
The water in impacted areas is safe to drink and use. All impacted users will receive a text alert indicating their water has been restored.
UPDATE: 12:17 P.M.
York County Utilities has begun repair work to resolve the water outage. Repairs are estimated to take between 2-4 hours.
Please use bottled water until service has been restored. Another update will be shared once more information is available, including guidance on boiling water, if needed.
IMPORTANT WATER ALERT: York County is aware of a water disruption issue in the Regent Park and Regal Manor area of Fort Mill.
