On May 28th, Luis Daniel Fuentes (06/11/1976) was sentenced to 𝟭𝟭𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻, along with lifetime s*x offender registration.

Fuentes pleaded guilty in February 2024 to three counts of 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 and one count of𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 after being indicted by a Grand Jury.

The investigation began in March 2022 after the Lee County Sheriff's Office began investigating Fuentes on s*xual assault allegations. Search warrants on Fuentes's cell phone revealed multiple photos and videos of child po*******hy. The victims ranged from 2 years old to 15 years old.

This case was worked in conjunction with the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force and the United States Attorney's Office.
