I am a professional, full-time Realtor® at Jones and Co. Realty in South West Florida, with over 20 years of experience. As a native "Hoosier" from Indiana, I moved to the Sunshine State in 1989 seeking a warmer climate. I have lived in Lee County for 31 years, raised my children here, and have seen vast changes in our area. What used to be a sleepy retirement community has changed into a great mix of retirees, Baby Boomers, Millennials, and families raising their children in our beautiful sunshine. Our growth has been phenomenal over the past 30 years and real estate has played a huge role in that. There are so many beautiful sandy beaches, and gorgeous sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. Our boating and fishing are a huge draw as our area has more Gulf access canals than you can imagine! Lots of shopping and eateries, comedy clubs and entertainment, and revitalized downtowns that offer housing abound in SWFL. The year-round gorgeous weather allows for many outdoor events like concerts, artwalk and music walk, yoga in the park, dog parks and dog beaches, pet-friendly outdoor restaurants, and tons of outdoor dining along our beautiful waterways. Must-see landmarks include the Historic Thomas Edison House and The Henry Ford Estate, The Butterfly Estates, Imaginarium Science Center, Sunsplash Family Waterpark, Greenwell’s Family Fun Park, Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium, and of course The Shell Factory and Nature Park. Our area is full of terrific places to entertain the kiddos and adults as well. Enjoy the abundance of farmers markets, as well as all of the opportunities for camping, kayaking, and paddle boarding, fishing and boating. All kinds of water sports !!
