Today’s “please fix it.” All home exhaust systems should terminate to the exterior. This includes dryer vents! Releasing warm moist dryer exhaust into a crawlspace or attic may cause all kinds of issues. These include increasing the risk of mold growth and the risk of fire. Dryer lint is very flammable. In fact, many survivalists and outdoors people pack dryer lint in the cardboard roller from toilet paper rolls as a very effective fire starter.

Getting better with the drone. Takes patience....

Always striving to take it to the next level. This door’s strike plate was in the wrong place and the door would not latch. So I had to move the strike plate down about 1/2”. This meant re-doing the mortise (recess in the wood so the plate is flush with the wood), filling in the gap left when the plate was moved, sanding and re-painting. Then for the icing on the top: painting inside the hole black.

It’s the little things…
