When I had the opportunity to make this video, one of my very first questions was “Did this used to be called The Egg & I or am I crazy??”. Turns out I am crazy, but not for that reason. Haha The Egg & I was formerly part of a chain, and then they became independently owned back in ‘22- hence the name change. Just in case you were curious too. 😉

Like I mentioned, they do a variety of catering that not many people know about! They can do full meals, heavy hors d’oeuvres, or light finger foods. The super sweet manager, Sarena, loves to hear about your planned event, and create a menu that fits your needs!

Oh and I also forgot to mention they have free WiFi! So many of their regulars bring their laptops and enjoy some quiet working mornings with their breakfast and coffee. ☕️

The best way to fight against AI art is supporting your local artists instead! Which is just one of the many reasons I recommend Lilly's Murals and More ! Her art has the ability to just really brighten a room and start conversations.

If you have a local brick and mortar business, adding window art or a fun mural could:

This place was definitely worth the trip up to NWA for the day. 🤩 If you’ve never been to the Momentary, it’s a branch of Crystal Bridges to showcase art, music, and food of the moment. (Hence the name lol)

If you’re needing lunch recommendations for this day trip, I cannot recommend The Co-Op Ramen restaurant enough! It’s only a few minutes away in the 8th Street Marketplace, and they even have vegan and vegetarian options. 🫶

Livin’ the dream! Today is an exciting day for us! Our first major job for Barker Home Improvement has lead to a closing day. 🥹

Our friends called us a bit overwhelmed with how to prep a house for sale when you live on the other side of the state. So we met up, made a plan, and it was a team effort to chip away at it over the course of 6 months.

But all that work paid off! They originally thought they’d only be able to sell for about $175k, but with some improvements we got this house to $255k!

We could not be more proud that we were able to help this amazing couple get some much needed closure. ❤️ They are seriously so stinkin sweet to each other and everyone they meet, so I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving!

Once you go try their products, I know you’ll be hooked! I personally am very weird when it comes to things like lotions (I hate feeling greasy afterwards) but the magic they have in their body butter is mind blowing! It just sinks into your skin leaving it baby smooth! - no greasiness at all.

Shopping here just feels so happy and like a little treat for yourself. The stocked shelves, the cute displays, the color combinations— it all just makes my girly soul happy! Not to mention they make scents that are inspired by the $600 bottle of perfume you could never bring yourself to buy. Just another reason they get you hooked when you go!

Seriously though, what could their followers be called? (Think how Taylor has her swifties— what could their Colquitt girlies be called? 🤔) 🧼

Oh! And if you’re watching this but not local, they do ship nationwide! 📦

Yes just having cute personalized clothes is fun, BUT as a former teacher (that was my first career if you didn’t know 💁🏻‍♀️), I can tell you nothing makes a new student feel more included than having school gear! Having clothes or accessories to wear on school color days or game days- so important!

And as a former teacher, I can tell you any of those bags or cups or jewelry with school colors or logos was always my favorite appreciation gift! 🎁

I hope you can attend Christmas in July and make a small purchase at each place to fill your bingo card! The local businesses here in Greenwood would love some love! 🫶
