Homebuyers that have been on the sidelines may want to take advantage of lower interest rates and higher housing inventory! Average rates have gone from approximately 6.25% over the past month down to a bit over 5%. Just because the Fed increases the Federal Funds rate doesn't necessarily mean mortgage rates follow in tandem. Call me and let's figure out a strategy for your next purchase or sale.

As of Tuesday, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate sits at 5.05%. That's down from June, when mortgage rates peaked at 6.28%.
