Our People Are Our Brand

Brande is a seasoned real estate broker with almost 25 years of experience in the industry. She was introduced to the profession by her Realtor at the time Brandon Steffen, who convinced her to attend real estate school. Brande takes great pride in helping her clients buy and sell their homes, and she especially loves assisting clients in finding the perfect lake home.

Brande and Chad have been married for 27 wonderful years, and together they have four children: Emerson, Ava, Jack, and John. Family is very important to Brande, and she cherishes spending time with them. You can often find them enjoying Purdue football games, water skiing, and snow skiing. They are avid lake-goers and spend a lot of time at Lake Tippecanoe, where they enjoy watching the boys barefoot in the mornings and taking in the stunning sunsets from their porch. Brande grew up in Decatur and on Crooked Lake, which gives her a unique perspective when helping buyers find their perfect lake cottage.

In addition to her love for real estate, Brande has a special talent for cleaning fish. Her grandfather ran his own fishing charter on Lake Erie, and Brande started as the "beer and bait girl" at the age of five. She learned how to filet a fish like no other, and is occasionally recruited by her favorite lake neighbor, Sam, to help clean a bucket of fish now and then. Along with her passion for the outdoors and fishing, Brande is also an advocate for community involvement. She loves giving back and is always looking for ways to make a positive impact in her community.
