Mona: Ok, here's what you should know. I’m addicted to McDonald's Diet Coke (there's nothing like it, right?) If we have a long day of showings, I'll probably show up with a Diet Coke in hand (text me if you want me to grab you one, too!) 🥤

Kayla: My favorite Friday nights are spent under the Friday night lights. My husband is the head football coach at Columbia City High School so the kids and I are always throwing on our maroon and gold and cheering for our Eagles! 🏈

Mona: My favorite travel destination is Siesta Key but my husband and I are up for going anywhere as long as we can bring our RV. We've been to a ton of state parks and are always up for a road trip (bonus if we get to see wildlife as we travel!) 🦌

Kayla: I’m a decluttering connoisseur. I love making spaces look beautiful without spending a dime simply by clearing the clutter! It's one of the ways I help my sellers stage their home for photo day! 🏡

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman who has loved as selflessly as a mother does.

Special shout out to my mama Mona Steury today. Not only is she an amazing mom and my best friend, she’s also been my broker and mentor this last year as I started a new career.

She has so selflessly led me and showed me the ropes all while encouraging me to find my own way because she knows I’ve got what it takes.

The fact that she so quickly trusted me to be on her team says a lot more about her than it does me, and for that my family and I will forever be grateful.

Oh and don’t even get me started on how great of a Nana she is to my kids. 😍

If there was ever a time to sell your home for max profits, 2022 is it!

Over the next five years, we will start to see decelerating appreciation in the market.

Don't panic, your home is NOT expected to LOSE value! Homes are simply expected to appreciate in value at a slower rate.

According to the latest "Home Price Expectation Survey" by Pulsenomics, home prices are expected to continue appreciating over the next five years, just at a lower rate than they have the last couple of years.

Take a look at each year and the corresponding appreciation rate.

2020: 10% +
2021: 18% +
2022: 9% +
2023: 4.74% +
2024: 3.67% +
2025: 3.41% +
2026: 3.57% +

As you can see, home appreciation has peaked. While we don’t have a crystal ball, it’s safe to say, this could be the last year to get top dollar out of your home before the market begins to cool off.

Team Meetings here at CCR look a little different than most brokerages. They’re usually at Mona’s home over pizza with kids playing dinosaurs at our feet. (What, does your office do it differently? 🦖)
