I’ll say this one more time for the people in back. I just lost a deal because someone was willing to waive a home inspection on a home with visible potential foundation issues.

I was unwilling and unable to suggest my client make such a foolish mistake.

Inspections are around $400-$500, why would you not spend this tiny amount to ensure you’re getting a safe home?

If your Realtor ever suggests you waive inspections, #1) they’ve been in business less than 2years
#2) don’t know how to negotiate a changing market
And
#3) are looking out for their pocket, not your investment.

It’s time to normalize client care over personal gain.

Stop being taken advantage of.
