I have been in the real estate business since 2012 as a licensed agent, after having worked for over 23 years in affordable housing. I have lots of experience in property acquisition & rehabilitation, and housing development. As Executive Director I purchased over 25 homes and rehabilitation of those units. I also had the opportunity to supervise the development and construction of a 35 unit senior housing project and 3 duplexes. I have experience in several aspects of the Real Estate Business which include buying, selling, property maintenance & repair, and property preservation. Today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11, a day that I won’t ever forget. It was such a sad solemn day. I was away from home, in Indianapolis at a housing conference, at a hotel very close to the Capital, so there was fear that capitals could be attacked. As I was getting dressed to go to the conference with the news on the TV I saw what seamed so unreal, planes flying into the towers. From that point on I just wanted to go home. I checked out of the hotel and headed home. The rest of the day and days thereafter were spent glued to the TV. Do you remember where you were?
