Rates continue to look good (relatively speaking), and there are a few factors that could lead to even lower rates. One of these is that rents are declining. Rents are a big driver in the inflation numbers, and it appears these have started to decline.
For 2026, both the MBA and Fannie Mae see this as a year of stabilization for the U.S. housing market. Additionally, they see home sales increasing by 6.5-7.0% for 2026. While a rising tide lifts all boats, I would be trying to get more than my fair share of this additional 7%.
I am always happy to set up a no pressure, complimentary consultation to go over any questions and explain the process of buying, selling, or investing.
If you have been hesitant on buying a home, there are many options for you.
Such as
- First time homebuyer program
- Requesting seller concessions at closing
- Considering looking at homes that have been on the market for 60 days+ and finding motivated sellers, to potentially offer a lower purchase price.
And much more!
As always, let me know if I can help in any way!
