A house for sale in a small Colorado town has a Zillow listing so unusual it has gone viral online, as it's got three bedrooms, two bathrooms — and one person inside.

A screenshot of the listing, which has more than 4 million views on an X page, tells buyers they cannot go inside before closing and warns that removing the current occupant will be their responsibility.

That occupant is Tori McMechan.

"The ad is unreal, right?" McMechan said. "Who would buy a home sight unseen with an occupant still in it?"

McMechan and her late husband bought the home in 2006. He died in a car crash amid a political dispute in Nunn. The 500 or so people who live in Nunn may be familiar with the case, but the internet just knows the listing.

McMechan has lived in the house since, raising her children there.

"This is the last thing that my husband bought for me before he passed," McMechan said. "This is where I raised my children."

A Zillow listing in Colorado went viral for its warning: occupant included. The woman who lives there explains why she isn't leaving.
