🚨 PLEASE Read If You’re Looking for a Rental 🚨

There are unfortunately a LOT of scammers in rental groups right now with fake listings, fake “agents,” and people asking for deposits before you ever see the property.

I’ve had multiple people come to me after they’ve already sent deposits to someone pretending to be a landlord or agent.

By the time they reach out, the money is gone.

Here are a few quick ways to protect yourself🤍

✔️ Never send money through CashApp, Zelle, Apple Pay, etc. to “hold” a rental

✔️ Always verify the listing is actually active in the MLS or the direct home owner

✔️ Make sure the person you’re speaking to is a licensed Texas Realtor. Verify on TREC

✔️ Never pay a deposit before a signed lease

✔️ Be cautious of listings that seem way under market value

If it sounds too good to be true… it usually is.
