The NAR, National Association of Realtors, recent lawsuit settlement is officially in full effect. What does this mean for you as a buyer/seller?

As a seller, you can no longer promote the commission you’ll pay the buyer’s agent on the MLS, the website real estate agents use to find and list houses. That means as a buy or seller, you’ll have to make those negotiations privately.

Having a real estate agent to help navigate those negotiations can alleviate that stress for you as well as ensure you’re being taken care of!

These rules are put into place to protect both you and your real estate agent! Let me know if you have any questions about these new policies or if you’re interested in buying/renting/selling!
