Fire Prevention! I’m thinking about fire safety this week. Did you know that the most common fires in homes are cooking fires?
I asked Jeff Martin, the Assistant Fire Marshall at the Bedford Fire Department about fire safety. He told me that “People tend to leave food on the stove, particularly grease. People will be heating up grease and walk away and forget about it and then a fire starts. Don’t leave dish towels on or near the stovetop. Don’t leave any combustible items on or near the stove. Once you’re done cooking, be sure and turn off the burner knobs.”

Key Light took this and last week off from social media and is back! After two trips to the ER, our family needed the rest. We got to the stockyards today to celebrate Ally turning four. All she wanted was candy for her fourth! Fort Worth Stockyards Candy Barrel it was.
