Natural gas infrastructure is getting treated like data center infrastructure now: because in a lot of markets, it’s what keeps megawatts firm when the grid is tight.

That shift changes the land lifecycle. Developers aren’t just planning for a pipeline or a lateral: they’re planning for uptime. Timelines compress, tolerance for ambiguity drops, and land issues become power delivery issues.

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Renewable Land Agents to support our renewable energy projects across the East Coast. The ideal candidates will have experience in land negotiations, title research, and right-of-way acquisitions, particularly in renewable energy development.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct landowner outreach and negotiate land lease agreements for renewable energy projects.
Perform title research and due diligence to confirm ownership and property boundaries.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timelines and goals are met.
Maintain detailed records of landowner communications and agreements.
Work in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in land acquisition, title research, or right-of-way negotiations.
Knowledge of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, or battery storage preferred).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with local land regulations in Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and Delaware.
Ability to work independently and travel as required.

Preferred Skills:

5 years experience in Renewable Land in Wind, Solar, and Batt Backup.
Experience using GIS mapping tools.
Background in renewable energy, oil and gas, or utility projects.
Membership in professional organizations like AAPL is a plus.
