104 S. Main is changing again, while keeping its history intact.

Work is underway on the redevelopment of this historic building in Fort Worth’s Near Southside. The project is an adaptive reuse of the existing structure, preserving a piece of the neighborhood’s history while giving it new life.

As recently shared by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, one of the new concepts coming to 104 S. Main is Sink or Swim, a new dive bar from longtime Fort Worth bartender David “Catfish” Flores.

The approximately 6,100-square-foot building is being rehabilitated and divided into two tenant spaces, with improvements planned for the South Main frontage, entrances, patio, landscaping, and parking area.

This redevelopment is bringing new life to one of Fort Worth's historic buildings, preserving its character while creating a vibrant space for the future.

104 S. Main St. - Exciting transformation underway in Fort Worth’s Near Southside.

The historic building at 104 S. Main, originally constructed in the 1940s, is being thoughtfully revitalized through an adaptive reuse renovation project that will breathe new life into this longstanding neighborhood structure while preserving its historic character.

Projects like this continue to reflect the ongoing investment and momentum happening throughout the Near Southside as underutilized properties are reimagined and value is added back into the community.
