Misty and Christopher Story run Story Real Estate located right here in Fort Worth, TX. The Story Real Estate concept was born 10 years ago when Misty and Christopher first started investing in real estate. Starting with buying and holding rental properties, Misty and Christopher slowly grew their rental portfolio year after year. Over time their experience of the ins and outs of real estate grew and grew and Misty and Christopher went from enjoying real estate to falling in love with it!

In fact, they completely geek-out on Real Estate and all of the minor details involved. What first started as just building their retirement portfolio, quickly changed to always telling friends and family how real estate is life changing. Of course some wanted to know more and others could care less, but no matter what they loved sharing what they learned to whoever would listen. Christopher would literally spend hours telling people why they should invest in real estate, to the point Misty would have to get him to stop talking about it. So over time as investors, Misty and Christopher decided to get their real estate license.

Armed with the knowledge of an investor and the abilities of a REALTOR® it created a dynamic situation that allowed Misty and Christopher to do more for their clients. It is not super common for the investor and REALTOR® world to live harmoniously as one. Many agents shy away from or don’t own any investment property, some dont even own a home. That’s what makes Misty and Christopher not your average RELATORS® they started as investors and merged into Investor/Realtor.

Some realtors love working with investors, while others love working with only retail buyers/sellers. Misty and Christopher love working with both because they are both and understand both sides of the game.

This is why Misty and Christopher give clients the choice of more than just selling their home they can buy the house instead and help clients skip the whole listing experience.

Of course everyone’s situation is different, for some it may be best to list their home for full price, while for others selling fast to an investor makes more sense. Either way, Misty and Christopher run the brokerage firm in Fort Wroth that does exactly that, working both sides of the field for clients, either buying their home directly from them or selling it for them.
