🗳️ Heads up, Tarrant County. A big decision about WHERE you'll vote this November just got pushed back. 📌

On Aug. 4, county commissioners voted unanimously to DELAY approving the list of polling sites for the November election - sending it to their Sept. 1 meeting. 🗓️

Here's what sparked it:
📉 The county elections administrator proposed cutting Election Day sites 45%, from 316 (used in 2022) down to 176, plus trimming early voting sites from 50 to 42
🧮 He said his numbers were based on turnout data and voting-day math
🙋 Dozens of residents spoke out, with most asking for MORE sites to keep up with population growth and voter access
⚖️ Even County Judge Tim O'Hare said 176 felt like "way too large a cut"

The November ballot is a big one: 70+ races, including county judge, two commissioner seats, plus state and federal offices. 🇺🇸

Bottom line: nothing is final yet. If where and how you vote matters to you, the Sept. 1 commissioners meeting is the one to watch, public input is still open. 🔑

🤝 Partnering with KBC Advisors and Lincoln Property Company
🛍️ The sale follows JCPenney's announced closure of its store there this year
