One of my absolute favorite places to visit every fall is the Dallas Arboretum. The gardens are beautiful year-round, but there is just something magical about seeing them transformed for fall. And, of course, the pumpkin pictures have become some of my favorite memories with Olivia. 🤎

This year’s Autumn at the Arboretum runs September 19–November 1 and features more than 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash throughout the garden! 🎃🍁

My parents and I have called Texas home our entire lives, and I’m so thankful for the roots we have planted in this great state. 🤍

Growing up, we didn’t necessarily practice many traditional Mexican customs, but my parents made sure I learned Spanish and understood the value of being bilingual. At the time, I may not have fully appreciated what a gift that was—but today, I certainly do.

I’m proud of my Hispanic heritage, grateful for the richness of our culture, and especially thankful that I now have the opportunity to share some of my favorite Hispanic traditions, foods, music, and celebrations with my daughter. ❤️
