SOLD! I had a new listing 8 years ago, and this home was next door to my listing. When I door knocked the neighborhood, they weren’t ready to sell, but they were ready for friendships. We became good friends, and hung out together on occasion, until life happened. We lost the husband to cancer.
I did want to sell their house, just not under these circumstances. Because we had talked about selling, I knew what the husband would have wanted for his wife, and I believe I did my best to honor his wishes.
I’m grateful that I get the opportunity to walk with my clients during some of their most challenging times, assuring them that the sun will come out again.
