A sweet friend and client Texas Lifestyle | Portrait Photographer gave me this plant. It’s a super cool plant ( fiddle leaf fig) and apparently is a hard to grow plant and takes proper care.
I’ve been staring at three twigs for at least 6 weeks and only barely watering once every two weeks giving it sun and leaving it alone otherwise.
Today I noticed my first leaf! And it reminded me about my business and life and how good things take time.
I remember when I first started working I wanted to sell something. Instead I formed a relationship and helped someone with what they needed at the times. Which was getting a duplex leased for their non profit.
I’ve seen the analogy of planting a seed watering it sunlight and waiting but doing other things while waiting and then seeing the growth numerous times.
If we stop and look we can see that good things take time, beauty can come from dirt and we can all bloom where we are planted if we get watered but then left alone and then some rays of light and then patience!
