Fall in love with the neighborhood before you fall in love with the house.

A beautiful home in the wrong neighborhood is still the wrong home — and no amount of renovation changes what's outside the front door. Before you get attached to the finishes, drive the streets at different times of day. Walk around. See what's nearby. Get a feel for whether you can actually see yourself living there day to day.

You can update a kitchen. You can't update a location.
