Ok guys I don't usually post daily events but today Ijust have to. I am all over the metroplex daily and have been for years so the unthinkable for most ladies is a part of my life...the dreaded public restroom!!! Sends most screaming into the streets!! When QT came to the area I was like hmmm reasonable pricing, friendly staff, quick in and out, and you guessed it clean RESTROOMS!!! So as you may guess in my daily adventures QT is always on my radar. Today QT took this relationship to a new level...I pulled up to the gas pumps grabbed my keys and my empty water bottle to drop in the trash can... so unfortunately I used my not so experienced "left hand" I released my grip and dropped my key fob plummeting into the dark trash can!!! Of course my uneducated left hand still had my empty water bottle..really?? I went in to the store and asked for some gloves to dig my keys out of the trash. The lovely young lady brought me a new in the wrapper pair of rubber gloves that excited me because i knew they would extend to my elbow!! She then asked which can, as we proceeded to the parking lot...I pointed and she said "i will get them" oh my you do not have to do that!! We exchanged a couple of dumpster diving stories that we had experienced when mistakenly dropping something and laughed as she without wincing pulled out the trash bag and dug for my keys. She found them (at the very bottom) she took them and cleaned them up as I pumped gas. She returned and handed me my keys. Story doesn't end there.. I still needed to purchase my tea. I knew I had a 20 dollar bill ...thought to self get change and tip her at least 5 bucks. As the employee rang up my purchase and took my 20 the young lady that fished out my keys walked behind her and said to her in passing "that's on me" the clerk handed me my twenty back and said " have a nice day!" I argued that wasn't the plan ... I would like to tip. The response with two very contagious smiles was ...not today, you have a good one!! In short ...not...lol...customer service beyond what your average person could even imagine!!! Thank you QT ladies on Hurst Blvd.
