You will pay PMI monthly if you put down less than 20% on a home loan. Certain loans allow PMI to fall off once you have paid off 20% of the loan, however, not all types of loans allow this charge to fall off. This cost can range but for our DFW area averages it’ll be around $200-400 a month. The smaller the loan the smaller the PMI, the bigger the loan the bigger the PMI.

Summer is a great time to search! More homes hit the market giving you more options in your desired area. If you have kids you can get settled in a new district before the school year starts. You can also also get a good grasp on the efficiency of the home, does it feel abnormally hot in certain areas? It might be the windows or not enough insulation and you can be sure to make it a priority when negotiating. You may also be more likely to find out if there’s an issue with the ac unit. My “Why”

Thank you so much for visiting my page!

I wanted to share with you why I became a Realtor and what my biggest hope and goal is for my business. So I became a Realtor for the oh so super important and significant reason.... I had failed at my attempt to become an actress in LA and after going broke and moving back to Texas my sister, who was an agent and is now my broker, convinced me to get licensed. I thought “eh why not!” and here I am a few years later still selling homes. I’ve discovered I actually do really enjoy it, there are several rewarding things that come with the career and I do feel like I’m getting to be creative in many ways. There was one thing that never stopped tugging at me though and no it was not how much I miss acting because honestly I’m very okay with the fact that didn’t work out. That one thing that kept poking at me was the sense I wasn’t living with purpose. You see I may be small in stature (the reason I call myself The Tiny Agent) but I have a BIG heart for people! All my life I’ve desired to give and help, my mom even got upset at me for giving away my only coat when I was about 15 to a homeless charity. That’s me, I would rather go without knowing someone else has something they truly need. However, now I’m a Realtor.... what can a Realtor do? I can’t give homes away! Though that’d be pretty amazing if I could. So that’s when my wheels started spinning and I knew I had to either quit Real Estate or find a way to marry my passion with my profession. That’s when my program Heart & Home was born.
