It usually starts pretty casually.

“We’re not moving anytime soon. We’re just looking.”

Then you start saving a few houses. You notice what you like. What you’d change. What you wish you had more of. And somewhere along the way, you start picturing life somewhere new.

You may not be ready to move yet. And that’s okay.

Sometimes looking is just how you start figuring out what you want next. 🤍

And when “just looking” turns into “maybe we should…” I’m here.

I’ve been doing real estate for over 17 years, and so much about this business has changed.

The market has changed. The way people buy and sell homes has changed. And I’ve definitely changed along the way too.

But the reason I love real estate really hasn’t.

For me, it’s always been about the people.

Most people aren’t moving just because they want a different house. Usually, something in their life is changing too.

They’re getting married. Having babies. Starting over. Needing more room. Wanting less to take care of. Moving closer to family. Or maybe they just have that feeling that it’s time for something different.

And I get to walk alongside people through a little piece of that.

I think that’s why The Next Chapter means so much to me.

Because after 17 years, I still don’t think real estate is really about houses.

It’s about what comes next. 🤍

Sometimes you start thinking about a different house before you even know what you’re looking for.

Maybe you need more space. Maybe you want less to take care of. Maybe you want a different area, a bigger backyard, or just a home that works better for the way you live now.

Sometimes you just know you’re ready for something different.

I think sometimes we get so caught up in the list of what we want in a house that we forget to think about how we actually want to live.

Maybe it’s not really about the bigger kitchen or the extra bedroom. Maybe it’s about having everyone around the table, a place for family to stay, or a backyard where you can just breathe a little.

Because at the end of the day, you’re not just looking for a house. You’re looking for a place that fits your life.

And maybe that’s where your next chapter begins.
