One little real estate perspective shift for May…

A lot of sellers assume the market automatically gets “hot” the second summer starts creeping in. But May can actually be a surprisingly slow or inconsistent month for buyer activity.

Why?

End of school chaos. Graduation season. Mother’s Day travel. Memorial Day weekend. Sports banquets, recitals, class parties… people are busy.

It doesn’t necessarily mean your home is “the problem” if things feel quieter for a few weeks.

Real estate has rhythms, and May is one of those months where life often competes with house hunting.
