Obtaining real estate is an INVESTMENT. Knowing that signing a 30yr mortgage can be a scary thing lots of people are nervous. But let’s do the math... .
________________________________________________________
You purchase a two unit property for 200k assuming a mortgage for 1,300. You live in one unit and rent the other unit out for $1,100 monthly. In a year off of that one unit that’s $13,200 and multiple that by 30yrs. That’s $396k, be sure to factor in that fact that you are occupying one unit and living RENT FREE so just as this building is “Cash Flowing” so are you. Not obtaining real estate you will also be out of $396k in 30yrs. .
