An easy way to give your home a quick and inexpensive makeover is to utilize towels, pillows and throw blankets.

Change out old towels in the kitchen for new, springy tea towels. Visit stores like HomeGoods and Tuesday Morning for great deals on decorative pillows and throws and give your couches, chairs, and beds new life!

This will keep things fresh, and they’re easy to replace from season to season.

What’s a contingency?

When a buyer makes an offer on a home, they can include a contingency - which means a specific set of events or criteria must be met to fulfill their offer.

Two examples of common contingencies are:
1) the home meets a clean inspection or 2) the buyer must sell their own house first.

Unlike a non-contingent offer, when a contingent offer is accepted, the listing is not immediately taken off the market and marked as “pending,” and thus may still entertain other offers.

However, if the criteria in the contingency is met, the home’s status is changed to “sold,” and taken off the market. 🏡
