We had such a great time at the 2026 NorCal Affordable Housing Supplier Development Summit! In honor of Affordable Housing Month and National Small Business Month, the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California’s Fair Contracting Working Group brought together industry leaders and mission-driven partners to help grow opportunities for small, local businesses throughout the affordable housing sector.

We’re proud to celebrate the grand opening of Colibri Commons today - a vibrant new community bringing 136 affordable apartment homes to East Palo Alto! 🎉

Co-developed with East Palo Alto Community Alliance and Neighborhood Development Organization, Colibri Commons transforms a long-vacant site into a community where individuals and families can put down roots and pursue their dreams.

Colibri Commons also brings $7.8M in transportation improvements, with investment in Caltrain, SamTrans, and the Rail Spur walking path - enhancing access and walkability for the entire neighborhood.
