Now that the ice storm is firmly in the rearview it’s nice to look back at its beauty.

While our homes were without power for 3 and 4 days we weathered the frigid temps at the homestead. We had wonderful gas heat, were only without power for a few hours, and had minimal damage. Through it all we learned we are more resilient than we thought and good neighbors and a good community is worth it all!

We had our first guests last week and they left us the best reviews. Our homestead is the perfect place for your family to get away and relax. A few nights resting in our beds will have you feeling rejuvenated. We hope to host you soon!

After a year and a half of work, the house’s renovation is coming to an end and we are ready for some guests! The house has five bedrooms, seven beds, and three bathrooms. It comfortably houses 14. This year we are extra thankful to celebrate another Thanksgiving in the house. The first holiday there since we started remodeling. The house was always full on the holidays but this year it was full to the brim! I had such a good time with everyone and I’m so thankful to have a family that I not only love but I also really like!
