Your 30-year mortgage doesn’t actually have to last 30 years! 👏

One of those things I feel like we don’t talk about enough…

Making just 1, 2, or 3 extra payments toward your PRINCIPAL each year can potentially knock YEARS off your mortgage and save you thousands of dollars in interest. 💰

And it doesn’t necessarily mean finding room in the budget every month. Think:

💵 Tax refund
💵 Bonus or commission check
💵 An extra-paycheck month
💵 A little extra whenever you have it

The important part 👉 make sure your mortgage servicer applies that extra money directly toward your principal.

We spend a LOT of time talking about how to buy a house…but not nearly enough time talking about how to pay that sucker off once you own it. 😂

So now I’m curious…
