Massachusetts REALTORS® took to Capitol Hill yesterday during the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C., meeting with members of Congress and their staff to advocate for policies that support homeownership, protect private property rights, and strengthen the real estate industry.

The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® proudly congratulates Judy Moore on receiving the 110th National Association of REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award, one of the highest honors in the REALTOR® association.

A REALTOR® for more than 40 years, Judy has dedicated her career to advancing the profession through leadership, advocacy, and service. She served as President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® in 2004, as an NAR Regional Vice President, and as a member of NAR's Executive Committee. A passionate advocate for homeownership and private property rights, Judy has also been a longtime leader in RPAC fundraising and REALTOR® Party initiatives, earning induction into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2010.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes REALTORS® whose extraordinary contributions have strengthened the REALTOR® organization, their communities, and the real estate industry over the course of at least 25 years. We are honored to celebrate Judy's well-deserved recognition and grateful for her decades of service to REALTORS® in Massachusetts and across the country.

“The influx of new listings is a positive sign given the continued inventory challenges in Massachusetts," said Kristen Keegan, 2026 president of MAR. “Buyers now have more options, and with easing mortgage rates, increased purchasing power. Given the decrease in closed sales, sellers still need to price their homes correctly and prepare for longer days on market. Looking forward, as we head into the summer months, I expect to see a continued uptick in new listings and overall stronger sales activity.”
