I consider the opportunity to assist a client in the sale or purchase of a home to be a major act of trust. The real estate transaction takes time and involves meaningful money. It involves the coordinated participation of people in highly diverse professions such as attorneys, mortgage brokers, home inspectors and appraisers. There is also a city/town hall full of people who are frequently called

on for information during the transaction. In addition, there are federal, state and local rules, regulations and guidelines that must be followed. Then, of course, there are the forms, critical action dates, and signatures that surface at key points during the transactions. I consider it the job of the real estate agent to keep the client unstressed, aware of and in agreement with every step of the process, and confident that all of the parts are coming together properly and going in the right direction. When the closing is complete, the best measure of the agent's performance during the transaction is an outrageously happy client who was glad to have shared the journey with the agent. I strive to achieve that measure of performance with every client.

During the last three years, our world has undergone great change. In order to accommodate the world’s redirection, the real estate business has also been changing and will continue to change as necessary. The successful management of the forces of change will prove to be the yardstick by which real estate agent performance will be measured.
Anticipating, searching for, and identifying the unexpected must become fundamental to the conduct of today’s real estate transactions. How well this is done will make a difference in the success of your real estate endeavors. Whatever changes may come, success must still be measured by the level of true customer satisfaction.

Here it comes, the 2023 Real Estate Market! Thinking about being a part of it? It will appeal to sellers because the price increases of the last two plus years are holding strong. It will appeal to buyers because the value growth of the past two plus years is being reinforced by a continuing shortage of inventory with no end in sight. Consumer perspectives and motivations are changing just as has the world in which we have lived for the past two plus years I believe it is going to be exciting. Grab hold and hang on.

In the midst of so many worrisome things going on in our world, along comes the Super Bowl. It is heartwarming to know we still have a place to turn for unadulterated pleasure. Enjoy the emotion of the game for what it is, the best giving their best. No downside to competition at this level.

Today's real estate market is defined by a shortage of housing , not by excessive demand. There is a difference. The mistake of low new construction activity happened a long time ago. Now we are seeing signs of a turn around. Support new construction.
