My heart is so full after this weekend.
It was one of those rare, beautiful stretches of time where you get to slow down, recharge, and truly soak in the people who matter most.
Saturday started with lunch on the river with Rae Hensley Smith and Kimâsimple moments, lots of laughter, and the kind of conversation that just fills your soul.
Later, sharing such a proud moment, celebrating my nephew Jesse Simmons graduating from the University of Louisville. Watching him reach this milestone meant so much.
Sunday began with breakfast with my best friend, Randall Thomas. Thank you for walking through every season of life with meâyou are such a blessing.
I was blessed to go to church with Randall and Natalie Thomas.
Then home to celebrate Motherâs Day.
Natalie made the most delicious lunch, Nicholas Thomas and Lauren brought me beautiful flowers and a surprise for my flower garden, and I had the sweetest phone call from Jake.
I took a rare and guiltless nap after lunch. What a real treat.
It wasnât anything extravagantâjust time together, love, and gratitude. And honestly, thatâs everything.
So thankful for these moments, these people, phone calls, texts and all the blessings in between. đ
