! The former Odd Fellows Lodge Building, circa 1870, in downtown Frankfort, Kentucky, is a three story brick Italianate-style building with a mansard roof on the facade, a common treatment in urban streetscapes. While the Odd Fellows occupied the third floor, lavishly expressed on the exterior with gorgeous round-topped windows, commercial interests occupied the ground and second floors. In 1887, Clarence Egbert founded the Frankfort Herald, a weekly newspaper published on the second floor of this building.
