First quarter of 2026 came in strong, and I’m so grateful to be part of so many exciting new chapters.

From welcoming out-of-state clients to Tennessee, to helping local clients step into new investment opportunities, to closing one chapter here for others—it’s been a full and meaningful start to the year. We even moved some land along the way… and it feels like I’m just getting started.

Every client I get to work with—whether buying or selling—means so much to me. It’s truly an honor to play even a small role in such big life moments.

I can’t wait to see what the second quarter has in store!

“We want land.”

I hear this all the time, especially from folks relocating to Franklin, and it always makes me smile. 😊

Little behind-the-scenes story: I can’t count the number of times when I would hear “land,” my brain would jump straight to 5+ acres, space for a barn, maybe a few animals, and plenty of privacy. So I’d send clients those big beautiful properties… and they’d come back with, “Whoa, that’s way too much. We meant like a half-acre with some elbow room.”

That’s when it really clicked for me: everyone’s idea of “land” is totally different. For some, it’s a larger backyard in a neighborhood. For others, it’s a mini farm. Neither is right or wrong — it just has to match *your* lifestyle and comfort level.

Now, when someone tells me they want land in Franklin or Williamson County, I always slow down and ask, “How many acres are you picturing?” and “Do you want neighbors, or no neighbors in sight?” Those little questions make a big difference in finding the right place for you.

❄️ Snow storm prep every homeowner should know ❄️

Before the snow and ice settle in, a few small steps can save you a lot of stress (and damage):

• Drip faucets to prevent frozen pipes
• Open cabinet doors under sinks to let warm air circulate
• Turn off irrigation systems
• Bring hoses inside and cover exterior spigots
• Clear vents, flues, and HVAC intakes from snow buildup
• Set your thermostat to a consistent temperature (even overnight)
• Salt walkways before ice forms — not after
• If you lose power, keep one faucet dripping
• Keep an eye on your roofline and look out for ice dams

Make sure to have plenty of non perishable food, water, batteries, flashlights, any medicines you might need and be ready to hunker down for an extended period of time. While Tennessee is great, we are not prepared for major extended winter weather. It could take awhile for roads to clear and be safe - if you don’t have to go anywhere, stay put!

Snow is beautiful, but it can be hard on homes — especially if you’re not used to it. A little prep goes a long way.
