Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was attacked.
This morning, Redbird was proud to join our Franklin community in the Public Square as elected officials, firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, and neighbors gathered to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
We were especially proud of our own Joe Katina, Redbird Associate Broker and member of The Katinas, who had the honor of singing our National Anthem as our community gathered in remembrance.
Today, we remember the 2,977 lives taken. We honor the heroes who ran toward danger. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed. And we remain grateful for the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities and our country.
September 11 reminded us of the cost of freedom, the courage of ordinary Americans, and the strength of a nation united.
Twenty-five years later, we still remember.
We still honor them.
And we will never forget.
