If you think new construction can't have soul, this house might change your mind.

1425 Franklin Ave in East Nashville feels thoughtful from
the minute you walk in. White oak hardwoods cut into three different widths, hand-hewn beams, limewash, detailed millwork, and finishes that feel collected instead of builder-basic.

And then there's the screened porch, detached three-car garage, and finished DADU... because apparently this house needed a few more reasons to stand out.

This is the kind of Nashville new construction I wish we
saw more often.

The truth about living in Nashville? It depends on which Nashville you’re talking about. 🤫

Yes, there are bachelorette parties, honky-tonks, and weekends when downtown feels packed. But most people who live here know that daily life looks very different once you get outside the tourist core.

“It’s too touristy.”
Until you realize a quiet morning at Radnor Lake, a coffee stop in your neighborhood, or dinner on the east side can feel completely removed from Broadway.

“It’s gotten too big.”
There’s no question Nashville has changed, but that growth has also brought more restaurants, shops, parks, businesses, and neighborhood amenities to different parts of the city.

“There’s always something going on.”
Sometimes that can feel like a lot. It also means you can choose between live music, a farmers market, a Preds game, a neighborhood event, or doing absolutely nothing at all.

That’s the part people don’t always see from the outside. Nashville can be busy and still feel familiar. It can keep growing and still have pockets that feel distinctly local.

And for a lot of people, that balance is exactly why they stay.
