Construction Updates for the first week of November with some great new aerial shots of the .

Light gauge metal roof trusses are being set and metal decking is being installed on the and area. The marketing Office trailer has been delivered and set-up on Friday, weather permitting. Sprinkler rough-in is at 90% on 1st and 2nd Floors and should be at that mark in 3-A next week. Wood framers are installing decking on building 2, 3rd Floor (Independent Living), framing porches and framing walls at pool room. Electricians have set the main switch gear at the electrical room in the commons area and setting boxes and pulling wire on 2nd Floor of MC/AL and Independent Living. Masons are completing block work between the commons are and 2nd Floor . HVAC duct work on 1st and 2nd Floors of MC/AL is about 90% and continues on 2nd Floor Independent Living

Light gauge metal framing in 1st Floor Section 1-A (Memory Care) is progressing very well. This section should be completed just prior to Labor Day. Wood framing is underway in Section 3-A (front portion Independent Living) and most wall frames are up. Floor joists have been placed in Section 2-A (back portion) and decking has been put down. Should start installing 3rd Floor trusses next week in both areas. Framers are also planning on starting in the Commons Area next week as well. Most trenches for electrical conduits have been backfilled and tie-ins to transformers are underway. Main water line installation is progressing.

Block work continues at wall D at firewall at proper elevation and block fill poured. Now framing for concrete beam pour. Block work also continues on the firewall and stairwell separating the Commons and 2-A. They are laying up 3rd floor and are approximately 75% complete. Steel erectors are on site placing beams and angle iron and are approximately 75% complete. Hollow Core Planks are being installed this week and should be complete Friday. The main electrical conduit was inspected and approved and backfilling is in process. Base is being placed in order to alleviate the some of the issue with mud. Work on the retention pond is underway on the South side of site off Old Highway 431. Work on the deceleration lane should begin this week.

Block work continues at Wall D at firewall at elevation ready for block fill when weather permits. Once grouted the second concrete beam can be formed and poured. Block work also continues on the firewall and stairwell separating the Commons and Section 2-A. They are laying up 3rdFloor and are approximately 50% complete. Steel erectors are on site placing beams and angle iron but all have been hampered by rain this week. Rock has been brought in and spread to allow for the crane to come into the site and weather permitting the steel erectors should be able to work Friday and Saturday and finish up Monday in time for the Hollow Core Planks to be installed beginning Tuesday of next week. The main electrical conduit was inspected and approved and backfilling is in process. Light pole base installation should be completed next week weather permitting.

Block work continues and second lift in Section 1-A is finished in most areas. Block fill has been added to prepare for third lift. Elevators #1 and #3 block work is almost complete, will have back-fill grout this week. Slab prep continues on the Rotunda area and the footers have been poured. Expect to pour the radius next week. Masons are in the process of building forms to pour a concrete beam on the firewall between Sections 1-A and 2-A, then another lift can be started. Site work continues with sewer and storm drainage pipe placement underway. Work on south side of site to bring area to sub-grade is continuing. Main power line conduit is continuing as well as placement of light pole bases.

Section 3-A SOG was poured Tuesday. Work continues on the front entrance (rotunda area) and a couple of columns were erected. Plumbing and electrical stub-out are nearing completion. Sewer line installation should be finished by the end of next week, primarily due to rain delays again and holiday this week. Storm drain installation is well underway and overflow pipe from the retention pond to the existing pipe along Old Highway 431 on the east side should be completed Wednesday. Steel beams and columns were delivered and more of these to be put in place when all anchor bolts are fully installed. Trenching for the main power from the city to the site is nearing completion. Second tier of block continues on Section 1-A with significant progress made and stairwells number 1 and 3.
