The best time to take care of your home is before it asks you to.

Summer has a way of sneaking up on us, and so do the little things around the house that quietly need attention.

A quick check of your air filters, plumbing, appliances, and safety systems now means fewer surprises later. And fewer surprises mean more time doing what summer is actually for.

We put together a simple checklist to help you stay ahead this season - covering everything from HVAC filters and dryer vents to smoke detectors and garage door safety.

✅ Exterior: Inspect stucco for cracks and clean your garage door hinges, rollers, and tracks.
✅ HVAC: Replace your air filters. Look for a MERV 8–11 rating for best performance.
✅ Plumbing: Re-caulk tubs and showers, clean faucet aerators, and check under sinks for leaks.
✅ Appliances: Vacuum refrigerator coils and clean your dryer vent to prevent fire hazards.
✅ Safety: Test your smoke detectors, GFCIs, and garage door safety reverse.

There is a new model home in Heritage Green, and the doors open June 27th.

The Parton has arrived at Heritage Green, and David Weekley Homes wants you to be the first through the door. This is our second model home in the community, and it's worth seeing in person. The details, the flow, the way the spaces actually live, those things don't come through in photos.
